BOWON THERAPY NELSON
Bowen: Ancient Effective Healing
Bowens at Wellness @ The Clinic is performed by our highly trained Physiotherapist's. It is a dynamic system of muscle and connective tissue therapy that was developed by Tom Bowen in Geelong, Australia. It is a series of measured inputs to the body stimulating the body to heal itself. The nervous system is signalled at various locations on the body over muscles, ligaments, tendons and nerves. At its own pace, the body takes over and does the rest, recognizing dysfunctional patterns and imbalances and correcting them. Bowen Therapy addresses the whole body and the Practitioner understands that no part of the body works in isolation.

How does Bowen work?
The sessions are performed by a professional Bowen work practitioner who was also the author of the report. An assessment tool was used to track the client’s symptoms, changes in pain, and overall sense of well-being.
